Hey, I’m Lauren & I’m so happy you’re here.

I use personal experience from traveling the path of wellness, along with expert knowledge from years of practice, to provide my inner circle with the toolkit they need to feel connected, balanced, vibrant, healthy, happy, and at ease in their bodies & minds. In addition to mothering three magical kids along with my partner, I teach yoga, meditation, and self-care practices, share wellness-based content, manage a vibrant community farmers market, AND craft purist products for home & body. I live in a home full of kids, plants, instruments, books, and so many Legos. I love growing as a conscious parent, creating things with my hands, cooking, hiking, reading & learning. As a lifelong explorer of self-growth strategies and personal evolution toward deeper/truer health and holistic well-being, my views on life (and teachings) ALWAYS include essential self-care in the form of movement, breath work, reflection, a whole-foods plant-based diet, and lots of love, kindness & gratitude. Through VEDA I hope to inspire authentic connection, inner alignment, and true transformation.

  • After a traumatic car accident in my early 20s, I sustained longterm spinal injuries and began searching for ways to end the pattern of chronic pain. Yoga surfaced in my life and became a healing modality along with other holistic practices— it was my gateway into holistic wellness. Moment therapy provided a toolkit to break out of helplessness and empowered me to care for myself. I’ve avoided spinal surgery and intense medications while learning to manage challenges as they arise in mind and body. I’ve developed a sense of self-care confidence while learning about the physiological aspects of the body and pain management, along with the subtle energetic and spiritual aspects of Self.

    In the years since my accident, as I have gained more life experience and grown a family, I’ve experienced traumas (as everyone does), but continued to add new strategies to my self-care kit to combat anxiety, intense stress, overwhelm, pain, and all of those other unnamed challenges we face as parents, mothers, caretakers, women, humans…all of it.

    I help others walking the same path. We have the potential to radiate well-being despite the hard things we go through. I’ll help you get there using the same tools I used to transform and support my life daily! How we feel (inside and out), directly influences how we move through our world. I’ll help you feel better existing within your own sacred skin, and everything around you will transform.

    Veda translates to sacred knowledge or inner wisdom. If we pay close attention, quiet the noise within & without, reflect often, and practice taking care of our bodies and minds, we can learn together how to find this inner knowing. I can’t wait to work with you!

  • Originally trained in hatha yoga, I’ve been teaching for over 15 years. I offer private sessions (individual, small and large group, corporate, special occasion, outdoor classes throughout the summer months (in Buffalo, NY and will travel!), in person as well as remote, and am developing a framework for digital course content allowing me to serve a global community. My style combines graceful flow sequences with foundational elements of physical and energetic alignment, mindful breath work, deep relaxation, and guidance toward self-awareness, self- empowerment, self-love and stress-relief. The future holds virtual & live retreats.

    My first career was as a secondary English teacher, with a graduate degree in Education. I believe that this life experience has helped me not only scaffold effective classes and programs, but to understand diverse needs and explore effective modifications.

    One the years, I've taught in living rooms, rehabilitation centers, private studio spaces, public outdoor areas, art galleries, auditoriums, classrooms, corporate offices, doctors' offices, festivals + holistic retreats…the list goes on.

    I've lead individuals through practice who have no experience, as well as those who have lots of experience. I've worked with athletes, bridal parties, children, teens, adults, elders, pregnant women in all stages and the list goes on.
